Hi there, I'm Madelyn!

I’m an aunt, sister, friend, partner, and designer. Now, I proudly add Health and Wellness Coach to that list. New York City has been my home for 17 years, where I've been working in the fast-paced world of fashion. However, my journey took a profound turn after witnessing my stepfather's grueling 20-year battle with chronic stress and illness, ultimately succumbing to cancer and dementia. This heartbreaking experience sparked a new direction for me, leading me to pursue a career in health and wellness coaching.

While pursuing my fashion career, stress and burnout became my norm. As a passionate go-getter, I’ve always aimed high, constantly pushing for success and fixating on my next milestone. I found myself neglecting the present moment, constantly chasing after the next big thing, and inadvertently giving my power away to my career. It all came to a head during a panic attack on my way to work –an eye opening moment that forced me to confront the reality of my burnout. It was a stark reminder of the toll chronic stress can take on both the mind and body. I knew deep down that something had to change.

I earned my certification through MindBodyGreen and attained National Board Certification, solidifying my commitment to this path. My core belief is that everyone has a choice around their health and wellness. Our health isn't predetermined by illness, and chronic stress is often a silent instigator of various chronic diseases. I advocate for the power of choice in health and wellness, with coaching serving as the bridge to optimal well-being.

As an agent of behavioral change, I collaborate with women, helping them cultivate sustainable habits that elevate their overall wellness, moving beyond “I’m surviving”  to “I’m thriving.” Central to my approach is providing a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to express their health goals, challenges, and triumphs.

Backed by a certificate in Functional Nutrition from MindBody Green, I emphasize the importance of everything in moderation, understanding that what we put into our bodies shapes our long-term health. I employ various methodologies, including motivational interviewing, SMART goal setting, appreciative inquiry, mindfulness, and somatic stress release techniques, tailored to empower my clients in achieving their self-defined goals.
